About ISO Classifications
There are two primary standards to which cleanrooms are classified to; FED STD 209E in which categorise the number of particles of size 0.5 μm or larger permitted per cubic foot of air and ISO 14644-1 which categorise the number of particles 0.1 μm or larger permitted per m3 of air.
At Integrity Cleanroom, we classify our products using the ISO 14644-1 standard. The table below highlights the differences between the cleanroom standards:
