The ESD Swab with a polyester tip is specifically designed for precision cleaning in electrostatic protected areas (EPAs) and cleanrooms. With a total length of 3.3 inches (85 mm), it features a compact ESD-safe polypropylene handle and a flexible polyester paddle head. This swab is ideal for accessing narrow slots, grooves, and other confined areas that require detailed cleaning without the risk of abrasion or contamination.
Engineered for use in ISO 6 environments, the swab is free from organic contaminants such as silicone, amide, and phthalate esters. It generates minimal non-volatile residue (NVR), has low ionic content, and releases very few particles, making it suitable for sensitive applications. The thermally bonded polyester head provides high solvent capacity while maintaining a soft, non-abrasive surface that is compatible with most commonly used cleaning solvents, including isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
